Fire & Flow: Choosing Passion Over Perfection

There is a specific kind of heat that rises when you finally stop overthinking and start doing. In my world of wellness, I call this the element of Fire. It’s the spark of passion, the internal flame that keeps us moving toward our truest selves.

Yesterday was International Margarita Day, and if I had listened to my old perfectionist tendencies, I probably would have spent the day researching the “perfect” streaming software, testing lighting for three hours, or waiting until I had a perfectly curated “strategy” to launch an audience.

Instead, I chose the fire. I chose to be present over perfect.

Diving into the Flame

I hopped online to go live with my dad to celebrate the tequila company we founded together. Was it polished? Not necessarily. Was it real? Absolutely.

For a long time, I let the “perfectionist” in me hold the matches. I thought I had to wait for the ideal conditions to let my passion show. But Fire doesn’t wait for permission to burn—it just needs a spark. By diving in headfirst, I realized that the experience of living out your passion is far more valuable than the “perfect” version of that experience that only exists in your head.

Lessons from the Glow

Leaning into this moment felt like a homecoming. With my Leo Moon, I thrive on expression and creativity. Sharing that space with my dad—who is so willing to create with me because he knows how much this means to me—made the fire burn even brighter.

When we pursue what we love, our true selves come alive. We move out of the “waiting room” of our lives and finally step into our element.

The Art of Patience

Now that the “live” energy has settled, I’m in the editing phase. I’m learning a different kind of fire now: the slow simmer. I’m waiting for the platforms to process the content, practicing patience, and trusting the process.

The takeaway? Don’t wait until you’ve “test-driven” every possibility. If you feel that spark of passion, just go live. The world doesn’t need your perfection; it needs your fire.

Stay tuned for more as we continue to explore the elements together.

Stay in your eliment,

Eliana
